Our 17oz Ripstop Cotton Canvas Tarpaulins are engineered for strength, durability, and reliable outdoor protection. Made from heavyweight cotton blended with polyester ripstop yarns, these tarps are designed to prevent tears from spreading—localising damage and extending overall lifespan. At 15oz before treatment and 17oz post-proofing, they provide exceptional toughness while remaining lighter and easier to handle than traditional wax-processed canvas sheets.
Imported from India and treated for water resistance, the tarps maintain flexibility without the heavy, oily, waxed feel of older-style canvas covers. Each sheet is finished with 12mm brass-plated eyelets positioned at 2ft intervals along single-stitched hems, reinforced with strengthening tabs for secure and long-lasting fixing points.
Please note: These tarpaulins are supplied as cut sizes, meaning the finished size may be slightly smaller after fabrication. As with all canvas materials, minor shrinkage may occur when exposed to temperature changes. Because the canvas is chemically treated and dyed, there may be a slight risk of colour transfer, so care is recommended during application.
